Mahanagar Gas Limited Dividend History: Mahanagar Gas Limited (BSE: MGL), a natural gas distribution company, has announced its Q3FY24 results. The public sector undertaking (PSU) has reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 317.18 crore in the December 2023 quarter. This is 84 per cent higher than Rs 172.07 crore in the year-ago.

Mahanagar Gas Limited has also announced an interim dividend of Rs 12 per equity share i.e. 120 % on the face value of Rs. 10 per share. 

"The Board of Directors at their meeting held on January 23, 2024, has declared an interim dividend of Rs. 12.00 per share i.e. 120 % on the face value of Rs. 10 per share," the company said in an exchange filing.

Mahanagar Gas Limited Dividend 2024: Record Date

The PSU has also announced a record date for this corporate action. According to the regulatory filing, the company has fixed February 05, 2024, as the record date to decide eligible shareholders.

The record date is important as this company helps the company to finalise the list of shareholders eligible for its forthcoming dividend distribution. 

The company has not said anything on the payment date. 

The share of Mahanagar Gas Limited ended yesterday's session at Rs 1345.35.
