ITC Dividend 2024: ITC announces interim dividend of Rs 6.25 - Check record date and other details

ITC Dividend 2024: ITC Limited, a prominent conglomerate, has announced an interim dividend along with its third-quarter results.

The cigarettes-to-hotels conglomerate has announced an interim dividend of Rs 6.25 per equity share of Re 1 each. 

"...declared interim dividend of Rs 6.25 per ordinary share of Rs 1 each for the financial year ending on 31st March, 2024," the company said in an exchange filing.

ITC Dividend 2024: Record Date

The company has also announced the record date. According to the exchange filing, February 8 is the record date to determine the eligibility of shareholders.

"..fixed Thursday, 8th February, 2024 as the Record Date for the purpose of determining entitlement of the Members for such Interim Dividend," the filing reads.

A record date is a date fixed by the company to identify shareholders who will be eligible to participate in corporate events like receiving dividends, bonus shares, etc. 

ITC Dividend 2024: Payment Date

The company said that the dividend will be paid between February 26 to February 28 to eligible shareholders.

"such Dividend will be paid between Monday, 26th February, 2024 and Wednesday, 28th February, 2024 to those Members entitled thereto," it said.

Meanwhile, the company reported a jump of 10.75 per cent in its standalone profit after tax (PAT) and a rise of 8.52 per cent in revenue from operations Year-on-Year (YoY) as the company reported its December quarter results on Monday (January 29, 2024).  

The company's standalone profit jumped by 10.75 per cent to Rs 5572.07 crore from Rs 5031.01 crore YoY against Zee Business research estimates of Rs 5252 crore.
