IRCTC stock closes higher after railway ticketing firm signs MoU with MSTRC

IRCTC Share Price: The stock of IRCTC ended Thursday's trading session on BSE on a higher note, rising 1.37 per cent, or Rs 9.40, at Rs 696.35, a day after the railway ticketing and catering company signed an MoU with Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSTRC).  

As per the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Indian Railway Catering Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) will enable MSRTC's online bus booking services via IRCTC's bus booking portal/website, accessible at https://www.bus.irctc.co.in. 

The MOU also said that MSRTC would provide APIs of its online bus ticketing system to IRCTC, which in turn would integrate MSRTC bus ticketing APIs on its website, www.bus.irctc.co.in, and mobile apps.
