Indian Energy Exchange rises by over 2.70% after 14.10% jump in its total volume

Indian Energy Exchange Share Price: Indian Energy Exchange jumped by over 2.70 per cent on BSE on Friday (May 3, 2024) after the energy firm said in a business update that its total volume has jumped by 14.1 per cent in April Year-on-Year (YoY).

The stock that closed at Rs 156.10 a day ago jumped to Friday's high of Rs 160.40, a 2.75 per cent rise from the previous close.

Indian Energy Exchange shares were trading lower by 0.13 per cent, or Rs 0.20, at Rs 155.90 at 11:48 am on Friday.

Indian Energy Exchange business update (April) (YoY) 

The total volume of the energy firm increased by 14.1 per cent to 9044 MU.

The Day Ahead Market (DAM) DAM price decreased by six per cent to Rs. 5.1/unit.

The DAM volume was down by 5.25 per cent to 4116 MU.

The renewable energy certificates (REC) price reduced from Rs 1,000 to Rs 204/REC

The REC volume increased by 211 per cent to 618 MU.

TAM increased by 51.7 per cent to 1276 MU.
