Titan Company: The Tata Group company said it recorded revenue growth of 20 per cent, year-on-year (YoY), in the June quarter of the financial year 2023–24 (Q1 FY24). All key consumer businesses exhibited double-digit growth during the quarter, the company said.
Tatva Chintan Pharma Chem Ltd: The company informed BSE that the meeting of the Board of Directors of the company is scheduled on July 11 to consider and approve fundraising and other business transactions, as applicable.
Nykaa: In its Q1 business update, the company said that the apparel industry has been impacted due to a discretionary slowdown during the quarter, especially in small towns. "For Q1 FY24, at a consolidated level, we expect revenue to grow in the mid-twenties YoY," it said.
Dabur: Homegrown FMCG firm Dabur India on Thursday said it expects the improvement in gross margins to continue in the ongoing fiscal, encouraged by the moderation in inflation and growth trends in urban and rural India witnessed in the quarter ended on June 30, 2023. In its quarterly update, the company said trends in both urban and rural India have shown signs of improvement in the first quarter.
Tata Steel on Thursday said its consolidated production declined to 7.08 million tonnes (MT) in the first quarter of FY24. The company's consolidated production was 7.67 MT during April-June of the preceding financial year, the company said in a statement.
Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, Eicher Motors, Subros, Amber Enterprises are expected to remain in focus today as the government has approved a draft notification to mandate the installation of air-conditioning systems in the cabins of trucks belonging to categories N2 and N3.
Zen Technologies: The company announced it has won an order from the Government of India valued at approximately Rs 160 crore. The contract comes under the Government's Indigenous Design and Development (IDDM) initiative, which requires Indian IP and over 60 per cent indigenous content.
Sobha: The real estate developer, in its Q1 update, said it achieved the highest-ever quarterly sales of Rs 1,465 crore. This was a 28 per cent YoY rise in sales value.
Phoenix Mills: Retail collections during the June quarter stood at Rs 621.1 crore, up 18 per cent YoY and total consumption came in at Rs 2,574.5 crore, up 18 per cent YoY.
IndianOil: Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IndianOil) and Praj Industries Limited (Praj) signed a term sheet to advance plans to strengthen biofuel production capacities in India. Various biofuels covered under this MoU include Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), Ethanol, Compressed Bio-Gas (CBG), Biodiesel and Bio-bitumen among others. Earlier in October 2021, both companies had entered into an agreement to form a 50:50 joint venture to this end.
