300% Dividend: Hindustan Zinc declares second interim dividend - Check record date and other details

Hindustan Zinc Dividend 2023, Hindustan Zinc Dividend Record Date 2023: Vedanta subsidiary Hindustan Zinc announced its second interim dividend on Wednesday i.e. December 6. Earlier in July, Anil Agarwal-led company had declared an interim dividend of Rs 7 per share to its eligible shareholders.
The company has now announced the second interim dividend of Rs 6 per equity share or 300 per cent on the face value of Rs 2 per share for the Financial Year 2023-24.
"The Board of Directors of the Company through a resolution passed by circulation on Wednesday, December 06, 2023 have approved 2nd Interim Dividend of Rs. 6 per equity share i.e. 300% on the face value of Rs. 2/- per share for the Financial Year 2023-24 amounting to Rs. 2535.19 crores," the company said in an exchange filing.
Hindustan Zinc Dividend 2023: Record Date
The company has already announced the record date for the payment of the interim dividend to eligible shareholders. The record date for the payment of Hindustan Zinc Dividend 2023 is December 14.
The record date is the cut-off date that helps companies determine which shareholders are eligible to receive a dividend or distribution.
"The record date for the purpose of payment of interim dividend, as already communicated is Thursday, December 14, 2023," the company said.

According to Hindustan Zinc, the interim dividend will be paid within stipulated timelines as prescribed under law.
