Stocks to watch out for on Monday:  At 08:16 AM, GIFT Nifty traded 138 points, or 0.67 per cent higher at 20,631.5, indicating a positive start for domestic equities on December 4, Monday.

The domestic headline index Nifty clocked a new high of 20,291.55 on Friday (December 1) and ended at a record close of 20,267.9, up 0.67 per cent, amid buying in financial, FMCG, and construction stocks. Meanwhile, Sensex closed 0.74 per cent higher at 67,481.19 as faster-than-expected economic growth in the September quarter added to optimism over the global interest rate outlook.

November has been a terrific month for the benchmark indices. The Sensex has jumped over 5 per cent, while the Nifty has rallied nearly 6 per cent during the period.

The market rally was boosted by better-than-expected Q2 gross domestic product (GDP) numbers, and exit poll results that indicated a high possibility of political stability after the General Elections.

Here are some stocks that will be in focus on Monday, December 4:

Hindustan Unilever (HUL):

The board approved the proposal to acquire up to 27.73 per cent stake in Transition Sustainable Energy Services One Private Limited (SPV). 

Further, as per filing, HUL announced a strategic partnership with Brookfield to set up a solar energy park with 45 MW capacity in Rajasthan.

Eicher Motors: 

As per the filing, the company sold a total of 80,251 units in November 2023 as against 70,766 units a year ago, up 13 per cent. Sales of two-wheeler models with engine capacity up to 350cc stood at 74,275 units and exceeding 350cc stood at 5,976 units. 

International sales of vehicles fell year to date by 25 per cent year-on-year (YoY) and stood at 48,690 (April 2023 to November 2023).

Auriopro Solution: 

The company secured a new order worth more than Rs 30 crore from a large public sector bank in India. The order includes the supply, installation, implementation, customisation, and maintenance of iCashpro+, our Cash Management Solution at the bank’s site.

Bajaj Healthcare

Rupesh Nikam, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company resigned on December 1, 2023, due to personal reasons. 

Surya Roshni: 

The company through a regulatory filing announced that its CFO, Tarun Baldua resigned from the post and the company has accepted the resignation.

Hero MotoCorp:

Total sales at the 2-wheeler major- Hero MotoCorp in the previous month jumped 26 per cent YoY. Amid the festivities, the company logged record festive sales this year. 

CAMS

In the scrip, promoter Great Terrain Investment (affiliate of Warburg Pincus) may offload 8 per cent or more stake in the firm. The floor price has been fixed at Rs 2550 per share that is an 8.6 per cent discount from the current market price. Currently, the promoter holds 19.87 per cent stake in the company.      

Siemens

Siemens AG, Germany will buy 18% stake in the company from Siemens Energy Holding BV at Rs 2952.86 per share. The deal will be executed on December 8 or post that.

Tata Power

The utility company of the Tata Group has won the bid for Bikaner-Neemrana transmission project. As per the terms of the deal, Tata Power will maintain the project for 35 years.

Granules India

The pharma company has received US FDA approval for Sildenafil which is used to treat  pulmonary arterial hypertension

Alkem Laboratories

The US FDA has inspected the company's Mandwa facility manufacturing API. The inspection at the facility was conducted between November 27 to December 1. Further, after the inspection, other than Form 483, 3 observations have been issued.

Brigade Enterprises

The company has launched a new residential project Brigade Sanctuary in Bengaluru. From the new project, there is estimated earning of around Rs 2000 crore,

The auto ancillary company posted weak September results. The profit at the firm declined 15.4 per cent year-on-year, while revenues surged 6.4 per cent YoY.
