Hindalco Dividend 2024: Shares of Hindalco Industries will trade ex-date soon for a 350 per cent dividend for the year ended March 31, 2024. The Aditya Birla Group company is the world's largest aluminium company by revenue and a major player in copper. It caters to more than half of India's copper requirement.

The board of directors of Hindalco has recommended a dividend of Rs 3.50 or 350 per cent per equity share having a face value of Re 1.
"The Board of Directors of the Company recommended a dividend of Rs. 3.50 /- per equity share of Re. 1/- each for the year ended March 31, 2024, subject to the approval of Shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting of the Company," the company said in an exchange filing.

The counter opened in green at Rs 627.45 against the previous close of Rs 624.80 on the BSE. It touched a high of Rs 631.15 before falling to a low of Rs 613.15 on amid selling pressure.

According to BSE Analytics, the counter has given a positive return of 35 per cent in one year and 46 per cent in two years. However, the counter has gained just 1.44 per cent so far this year.
Meanwhile, equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty continued to trade lower on Thursday after the Reserve Bank of India decided to keep the policy rate unchanged for the ninth time in a row, saying food inflation remains stubborn.
Continuous foreign fund outflows and weak trends in the US markets also drove domestic equities lower.
Extending its early trade decline, the 30-share BSE Sensex tumbled 570.09 points to 78,897.92. The NSE Nifty tanked 178.2 points to 24,119.30.
