HEG goes ex-dividend; shares rise
The book closure will start from August 25 to August 31 (both days inclusive) for the purpose of the Annual General Meeting and for payment of final dividend for the financial year 2022-23.
HEG shares gained on Thursday, August 24 even as the stock traded ex-dividend. The stock of graphite electrode maker HEG rose by as much as Rs 37.6, or 2.2 per cent, to Rs 1,778.2 apiece on BSE this morning.
The stock settled at 1.1 per cent, at Rs 1,758.25 apiece.
The book closure will start from August 25 to August 31 (both days inclusive) for the purpose of the Annual General Meeting and for payment of final dividend for the financial year 2022-23.
The final dividend for the financial year 2022-23 will be paid in 30 days from the date of the AGM meeting, scheduled to be held on August 27.
