HDFC Life share price NSE: HDFC Life Insurance Company, NSE: HDFC Life Insurance company (HDFCLIFE) shares registered mild gains on Friday, October 13, ahead of the private sector insurance company’s quarterly financial results due later in the day. HDFC Life shares rose as much as over one per cent to Rs 630.8 apiece on NSE. Analysts expect the company to stage a steady financial performance for the July-September quarter with double-digit growth in net profit as well as net premium income. HDFC Life shares ended at Rs 623.7, down Rs 0.95 or 0.15 per cent on NSE.

What to look out for in HDFC Life Q2 results?
According to Zee Business research, HDFC Life Insurance is likely to report a 13.4 per cent year-on-year increase in standalone net profit to Rs 370 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2023. The analysts expect the life insurance company’s standalone net premium income to grow 14.4 per cent to Rs 14,995 crore. READ MORE

HDFC Life shares finished the September quarter nearly 2.5 per cent lower, contrary to a 2.3 per cent rise in the benchmark Nifty50 index.However, the life insurance stock has risen 20 per cent in the past year as against a 15.7 per cent gain in the Nifty, as of October 12.
