HAL Dividend 2024: PSU Defence company recommends 260% final dividend - Check record date, payment date

HAL Dividend 2024 Record Date, HAL Share Price: Defence PSU Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL) has informed exchanges that its board has recommended a final dividend for the financial year 2023-24. The company said that it has also fixed the record date for the final dividend payment if approved by the shareholders in the ensuing AGM.

The company said that the board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 13, or 260 per cent, per equity share of face value of Rs 5.

Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL) has stated that the record date for the payment of the final dividend, if approved by the shareholders in the ensuing AGM, will be August 21, 2024.

The company has already paid an interim dividend of Rs 22 per share. This was the highest in the last two years.

The company said that the dividend amount would be paid within 30 days from the date of its approval in the AGM. 

"Final dividend of Rs 13 per equity share of Rs. 5/- each fully paid up (260%) for the Financial Year 2023-24, which shall be paid to the eligible shareholders within 30 days from the date of its approval in AGM. Record Date for the payment of final dividend for the financial Year 2023-24, if approved by the shareholders in the ensuing AGM, will be Wednesday, the 21st August, 2024," the company said in an exchange filing.

Meanwhile, the counter ended the session at Rs 5283, down by 1.60 per cent from the previous close of Rs 5369.05.
