GMR Airport is trading higher by 1.61 per cent to Rs 54.15 in early trading on Monday after its data showed a jump both in passenger traffic and aircraft movement. The company in its BSE filing said that passenger traffic in July grew by 30 per cent to 98.60 lakh year-on-year (YoY), while aircraft movement in July was also up 17 per cent to 64,809 YoY.

While Cebu (Philippines) saw the highest growth percentage in passenger traffic at 79 per cent to 965,357, the highest growth for the same in terms of total numbers came for Delhi, which saw a rise of 21 per cent in passenger traffic at 5,924,626. 

Cebu also saw the highest YoY growth percentage in terms of aircraft movements at 56 per cent to 7,803.

The highest growth for the same in terms of numbers came for Delhi, which witnessed a rise of 6 per cent at 35,533 YoY.
