Glenmark Life shares jump after pharma firm announces interim dividend

Glenmark Life Share Price: Shares of Glenmark Life jumped 1.49 per cent, or Rs 9.30, at Rs 633.50 on BSE on Tuesday morning after the pharmaceuticals company announced an interim dividend of Rs 22.50 per equity share of Rs 2 each. 
The stock ended Monday's session at Rs 624.20 and started Tuesday's session at Rs 638.75 before touching the day's high of Rs 639.00.

The small-cap pharma company held its board meeting on Monday, where it announced its interim dividend.

"The Board of Directors (“Board”) of the Company has at its meeting held today i.e. October 09, 2023, inter-alia, declared Interim Equity Dividend for the financial year 2023-24 of Rs. 22.50/- per equity share of Rs. 2 each," said the company in a statement on Monday.

Glenmark Life Dividend Record Date

The company said that the record date for reckoning the list of shareholders who will be entitled to receive the said interim dividend is October 17. The interim dividend will be paid to such shareholders on or after October 23, according to Glenmark Life's statement.
