Dividend Stocks today, April 6: RVNL, Vedanta and United Nilgiri Tea Estates shares will trade ex-date for dividend today, April 6, according to the NSE website. 

Notably, the price of a stock is adjusted when a company distributes dividend. The stock trades without the benefit of the next scheduled dividend payment on the ex-dividend date. The price and the date are called the ex-dividend price and the ex-dividend date.

Rail Vikas Nigam has announced a dividend of Re 1.77 per equity share of the face value of Rs 10 each — making it a 17.7 per cent dividend. RVNL shares will trade ex-date today, April 6. April 6 is also set as the record date.

Mining company Vedanta has announced an interim dividend of Rs 20.50 per equity share of face value of Re 1 per share. The stock will trade ex-date today.

United Nilgiri Tea Estates dividend 

United Nilgiri Tea Estates has announced a dividend of Re 1 per share with a face value of Rs 10, i.e., a 10 per cent dividend payout. The stock will trade ex-date today, April 6.
