As per Zee Business research inputs, as many as 66 companies from the BSE 500 univese can give a whopping dividend totalling to Rs 99,100 crore.
Companies including the likes of HCL Technologies, Bharat Electronics, LTI Mindtree, Siemens are estimated to be siitting on an excess cash of up to 32,500 crore.

Other companies like can increase dividend yield by up to 10 per cent including Graphite India, Rites Ltd and Sun TV. Graphite India can emerge as the scrip with the highest dividend yield.
In the last 5 years, these 66 companies have made 15 per cent of their payouts through the share buyback route. But, only 16 companies have implemented their target payout policy. Furthermore, out of these, 4 companies follow the government's DIPAM policy.
