All three companies, whose stocks have risen in the range of 16-28 per cent so far in 2024, have already fixed the record dates for any such interim dividends, if cleared.
Here’s a summary of the potential upcoming dividends by the three PSU companies:
Engineering and construction major IRCON International’s board meeting is scheduled to meet on February 8 to consider a dividend as well as the company’s financial results for the October-December period.
IRCON dividend record date
"The record date for the purpose of payment of Interim Dividend for the Financial Year 2023-24, would be Friday, 16th February, 2024, subject to declaration of the said Interim Dividend by the Board of Directors in its meeting to be held on Thursday, 8th February, 2024," according to a regulatory filing by IRCON International on January 30.
Coal India
Coal India’s board is slated to meet on February 12 to consider an interim dividend as well as the state-run coal mining behemoth’s quarterly numbers.
"Board of Directors of the company may also, inter alia, consider and declare payment of 2nd Interim Dividend for FY 2023-24, if any," Coal India said in a filing dated January 29.
Coal India dividend record date
CIL has fixed February 20 as the record date for what could be the company’s second interim dividend for the current financial year, it said.
ONGC
The board of ONGC, which was originally scheduled to meet on February 13, will meet on Saturday, February 10, to consider an interim dividend.

"It is hereby informed that Saturday, 17th February, 2024 has been fixed as revised 'Record Date' for determining eligibility of members for payment of 2nd Interim Dividend, if declared by the Board of Directors, " the oil and natural gas major said in a regulatory filing on February 2.
