Dilip Buildcon shares edged lower on Tuesday, trading ex-dividend. The stock of the Madhya Pradesh-headquartered construction firm declined by as much as Rs 4.2, or 0.7 per cent, to Rs 550.1 apiece on BSE.

At 10:35 am, the stock was trading weaker by Rs 2.8, or 0.5 per cent, for the day at Rs 551.4 apiece on the bourse.

Earlier, the construction company announced a dividend of Re 1 per share for eligible shareholders. 

This month, emerged as the lowest bidder for an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) project worth Rs 1,341 crore in Kerala. 

The project involves the construction of a twin tube unidirectional tunnel, with two lanes in each direction, in the Kozhikode and Wayanad districts of Kerala.
