Indian equities ended Wednesday’s session higher led by gains in heavyweight stocks including Maruti Suzuki and Bajaj Auto among others. Nifty at the close ended at 22,123.65 with gains of 118.95 points or 0.54 per cent, while Sensex added 526.01 points or 0.73 per cent and settled above 72,996.31. Sectorally, Realty and Energy were the top performers, while PSU Banks and IT were the laggards.

Lupin:

Lupin shares ended marginally lower at Rs 1605.75 as the company gets Rs 477 crore income tax demand notice for assessment year 2022.

Wockhardt:

Shares of the pharma company ended locked in 5 per cent upper circuit at Rs 555.8 after the company closed its QIP on the previous day.

Aster DM Healthcare:

Post the block deal in the morning deals, shares of the company settled with a cut of over 7 per cent at Rs 404.85.

Ipca Laboratories:

Shares of the company ended almost flat with a negative bias at Rs 1199.35 even as the company inked a pact with Omexa Formulary.

Angel One:

Shares of Angel One ended with gains of over 9 per cent at Rs 2974.95 after it launched its QIP issue at a floor price of Rs 2,555 per share.

Zaggle Prepaid:

Shares of the IT-enabled services firm ended over 5 per cent higher at Rs 292.9 as the company entered into an agreement with Riya Travel.

Caplin Point:

Shares of the drugmaker ended a tad higher at Rs 1259.95 as the company’s wholly-owned subsidiary announced the commencement of operations at its oncology facility in Chennai.
