D-Street Newsmakers: JSW Energy, Zinka Logistics, Ola Electric and 5 more stocks that hogged limelight today

Indian equities on the last second trading session of the year ended with sharp losses amid selling in PSU Banks, metals and realty stocks. At the close, Nifty ended 0.71 per cent or 168.5 points lower at 23,644.9, while the BSE 30-share Sensex index settled 0.57 per cent or 450.94 points down at 78,248.13.

Here are the stocks that remained in focus today:

Vodafone Idea: Vodafone Idea shares ended 3.75 per cent higher at Rs 7.75 per share after the Group cleared debt amounting to Rs 11,650 crore. The Group used its entire stake in Vodafone Idea as collateral for this debt.

Zinka Logistics: After Morgan Stanley initiated coverage on the counter with an 'underweight' rating, the stock at the close was locked in 5 per cent lower circuit at Rs 506.85 per share.

JSW Energy: The company's subsidiary JSW Neo Energy acquired  O2 Power Midco Holdings Pte. Limited and O2 Energy SG Pte. Limited. The stock ended with gains of over 3 per cent at Rs 644.35 per share.

Cholamandalam Investment and Finance: As JP Morgan continued with its 'overweight' rating with the target pegged at Rs 1,550 per share, the stock ended higher by nearly 2 per cent at Rs 1,216 per share.

Ola Electric Mobility: Shares of the EV company ended with a cut of nearly 6 per cent at Rs 85.09 per share.

Senores Pharmaceuticals: After whopping listing gains, the scrip at the close settled higher by over 42 per cent at Rs 557.05 apiece on the NSE.

Hero MotoCorp:The company extended its partnership with Harley Davidson. Upon the development, the scrip ended over1 per cent lower at Rs 4,188.15 per share.

Cigniti Technologies: Shares of Cigniti ended with a cut of over 1,767.95 per share after the company's board approval for merger with Coforge. Shareholders of Cigniti will get 1 share of Coforge for every 5 shares shares held by them.
