Indian equities after two days of profit booking ended with gains on the weekly expiry day. Nifty at the close ended 141.25, or 0.66 per cent higher, at 21,658.8, while Sensex added 490.97 points, or 0.69 per cent at 71,847.57.

Tata Motors:

JP Morgan upgraded the stock to overweight and on the upgrade the stock ended around 2 per cent higher at Rs 796.25 per share.

IHCL:

Shares of the Tata  Group hotel chain also has been upgraded by Morgan Stanley with a target price increase. The stock ended over 2 per cent higher at Rs 462.9 per share.

REC:

Shares of the state-run financing major ended around 3 per cent higher at Rs 435.85 as it inked a MoU with BOB for facilitating joint sanctions of loans to fund power, infrastructure and logistics projects in the country over the next three years.

Ashoka Metcast:

The stock ended over 1 per cent lower at Rs 32.45 as it sold its stake in Vivanza Biosciences.

Torrent Power:

Shares of the company ended around 8 per cent higher at Rs 1016.55 as it inked 4 MoUs with Gujarat during the 10th edition of Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit.

DroneAcharya Aerial:

The stock of the company added over 1 per cent and ended at Rs 195 as it is set to acquire a leading Pune-based Deep Tech Drone Company.

Shares of the company ended weak by over 1 per cent at Rs 5869.15 as it announced the integration of its subsidiaries.

Welspun Corp:

Shares of the company added 0.24 per cent and settled at Rs 560 per share. The company has received new line pipes orders in India and USA.

SBI:

SBI shares ended with a marginal loss at Rs 643.2 as the lender informed about the issuance of $1 billion via syndicated loan. 

Seacoast Shipping:

Stock of the company ended around 10 per cent higher at Rs 3.9 after the company confirmed the acquisition of the vessel MV Bharadwaj.
