Indian equities amid a positive global mood ended higher on the F&O expiry day. At the close, Sensex notched 33 points gains and settled at 74,119, while Nifty ended 19 points higher at 22,494. Meanwhile, Bank Nifty ended with a drag of 130 points at 47,836.

HUDCO:

Shares of the company ended over 3 per cent higher at Rs 202.45 as the company inked an MoU with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company.

Zydus Lifesciences:

Shares of the pharma company after marking an all-time high in intra-day trade ended 1.6 per cent higher at Rs 978. The company’s units gets USFDA approval for manufacturing APIs.
