D-Street Newsmakers: IGL, Tata Chemcials and Tata Motors among stocks that hogged limelight today

Indian equities amid a positive global mood ended higher on the F&O expiry day. At the close, Sensex notched 33 points gains and settled at 74,119, while Nifty ended 19 points higher at 22,494. Meanwhile, Bank Nifty ended with a drag of 130 points at 47,836.

Indraprastha Gas:

After reducing CNG prices in Delhi, NCR, shares of the city-gas distribution company ended 0.14 per cent higher at Rs 173 per share.

Phoenix Mills:

Shares of the realty player ended 3 per cent higher at Rs 2793.05 as HSBC maintained a buy view on the counter.

Bharat Electronics:

Shares of the defence PSU ended at Rs 215.4, up over 2 per cent as UBS sees up to 22 per cent upside in the stock.

Tata Motors:

Shares of the auto major ended 2 per cent at Rs 1039.35, up over 2 per cent after the company announced price increase in its commercial vehicles starting April this year.

Tata Chemicals:

Shares of the company after notching fresh all-time high ended nearly 12 per cent higher at Rs 1314.9.

M&M:

Shares of the auto company ended around 4 per cent lower at Rs 1896.25 after a block deal in the counter.

SBFC Finance:

Shares of the NBFC ended over 10 per cent lower at Rs 82.22. The stock snapped a four-session winning streak and slipped after multiple block deals took place.

LTIMindtree:

Shares of the IT company ended with a cut of around 1 per cent at Rs 5120.6 after the company appointed Vipul Chandra as the company’s CFO.

HUDCO:

Shares of the company ended over 3 per cent higher at Rs 202.45 as the company inked an MoU with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company.

Zydus Lifesciences:

Shares of the pharma company after marking an all-time high in intra-day trade ended 1.6 per cent higher at Rs 978. The company’s units gets USFDA approval for manufacturing APIs.
