Indian equities in an extremely volatile session led by banking stocks and especially the PSUs witnessed a sharp reversal  across the board and Nifty50 settled the monthly expiry day at 22,570.35 with gains of 167.95 points. Except for Realty, all the other sectors ended the day in green with PSU Banks and Pharma being the outperformer

After the better-than-expected Q4, shares of the lender ended higher by 6 per cent at Rs 1127.35.

Vedanta:

Shares of the diversified metals company settled a tad lower at Rs 380.8 as the company’s PAT fell 27 per cent on year. 

Bajaj Finance:

Ahead of its earnings later today, shares of the NBFC ended lower by 0.46 per cent at Rs 7293.9 per share.

HCL Technologies:

Ahead of its results to be released tomorrow, shares of the IT major ended nearly 2 per cent higher at Rs 1503.65.

OFSS:

Shares of the company ended 2.5 per cent lower at Rs 7170 as the company’s Q4 profit fell 24 per cent sequentially.

ITC:

ITC shares ended with gains of 2 per cent at Rs 437.5 as the ordinary shareholders meeting is scheduled on June 6 for taking approval for the hotels’ business demerger.

Inox Wind: 

Shares of the company ended over 7 per cent higher at Rs 646.1 after notching 52-week high as the company announced 3:1 bonus share issue.

Laurus Labs:

Shares of the company fell over 2 per cent at Rs 425.3 as the company’s Q4 PAT tumbled 26 per cent on year.

Glenmark Life:

Shares of the pharma company ended 9 per cent lower at Rs 752.15 as the company’s Q4 PAT slipped 33 per cent on year.

HG Infra:

Shares of the company ended 9 per cent higher at Rs 1151.95 on the company’s foray in energy and green hydrogen segment.
