CRISIL hits 52-week high after rating agency reports strong operational Q3 results
The firms EBITDA for the quarter under review saw a jump of 24.5 per cent to Rs 269 crore from Rs 216 crore in the corresponding period of last fiscal. CRISILs margin for the December quarter jumped to 29.3 per cent compared to 26.2 per cent in the same quarter last year. CRISIL also announced an interim dividend of Rs 28.
CRISIL Share Price: CRISIL hit a 52-week high of Rs 5014.85 on BSE on Monday (February 19, 2024) after the rating agency reported strong operational results in its December quarter and appointed a new chairman, Yann Le Pallec.
The stock was trading up by 7.32 per cent, or Rs 337.15, at Rs 4940.00 at 10:28 am on Monday after the company reported a 32.9 per cent rise in its consolidated profit after tax in Q3.
The CRISIL stock closed trading on Friday at Rs 4602.85 and opened at Rs 4832.15 on Monday.
The stock soared by 8.95 per cent from the previous close to hit a 52-week high.
The day's low for the stock on Monday was Rs 4735.25.
CRISIL Q3 Results
The company's profit for the December quarter soared by 32.90 per cent to Rs 210 crore from Rs 158 crore Year-on-Year (YoY).
Its consolidated revenue from operations rose by 11.60 per cent to Rs 918 crore against Rs 822 crore in the same quarter last fiscal.

CRISIL's new chairman
Yann Le Pallec has been appointed chairman of CRISIL. His appointment is effective from February 17.
He took over from Ewout Steenbergen, who resigned as director, with effect from February 16.
