Havells, Voltas, Crompton Greaves, Symphony: What to expect from consumer durable stocks going ahead? Goldman Sachs raises targets
Consumer Durables stocks: Goldman Sachs expects 30 per cent growth for ACs in FY25 against 15 per cent growth earlier and has revised its target prices on consumer durables stocks.
Consumer Durables stocks, Havells share price target, Voltas share price target, Crompton Greaves share price target, Symphony share price target: In a recently released report on Consumer Durables stocks, Goldman Sachs stated that a strong summer with more than above-normal temperature levels has driven a strong demand for electronic cooling products.
Demand for air conditioners, fans, and air coolers has seen a significant uptick both in the primary and secondary markets.The brokerage noted that the Q1 margins were also likely to witness an uptick driven by better operating leverage and lower discounts.
Goldman Sachs now expects 30 per cent growth for ACs in FY25 against 15 per cent growth earlier and has revised its target prices on consumer durables stocks.
Havells India share price target
Goldman Sachs has maintained a buy call on Havells India. The brokerage has raised the target by Rs 200 per share to Rs 1,900.
Voltas share price target
Goldman Sachs has retained a sell call on Voltas. However, the brokerage has raised its target to Rs 1,200 from Rs 1,060.
Symphony share price target
Goldman Sachs has maintained a neutral call on Symphony with a revised target of Rs 1,160 per unit from Rs 1,070 per unit earlier.
Crompton Greaves share price target
Goldman Sachs has retained a buy call on Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals. The brokerage has raised the target to Rs 450 from Rs 410, a raise of Rs 30 per share.
In addition, Morgan Stanley has maintained an equalweight rating on Crompton Greaves with a target of Rs 323. "Management expects the electrical consumer durables industry to grow in 7-9 per cent in F25e. Consumer preferences are shifting with higher demand for premium, energy-efficient, and technology-advanced products," the brokerage said in its note.
