Concor stocks dips despite Railway company reported inline Q3 numbers
The company's standalone profit after tax (PAT) jumped by 12.8 per cent to Rs 334.4 crore in the December quarter against Rs 296.5 crore Year-on-Year (YoY), below than Zee Business research estimates of Rs 347 crore.
Concor Share Price: Container Corporation of India (Concor) started the trading session on a lower note on Thursday (January 25, 2024) despite the company reported inline December-quarter numbers a day ago.
The stock of the railway company on BSE was trading lower by 0.64 per cent, or Rs 5.40, at Rs 835.65, at 10:02 am on Thursday.
The spurt in the volume of the stock was more than 5.29 times, as per the BSE website on Thursday.
Concor Q3 numbers
The company's standalone profit after tax (PAT) jumped by 12.8 per cent to Rs 334.4 crore in the December quarter against Rs 296.5 crore Year-on-Year (YoY), below than Zee Business research estimates of Rs 347 crore.
Its standalone revenue for the December quarter soared by 11 per cent to Rs 2205.10 crore from Rs 1988.40 crore in the same quarter last year.
The reported revenue was below than analysts' estimates of Rs 2180 crore.
The company's margin for the third-quarter jumped to 23.2 per cent against 21.6 per cent in the same quarter last fiscal.
Research had estimated it to be 24.7 per cent.
The company also paid an interim dividend of Rs. 4 per equity share.
The revenue in terms of US dollar was also up by 1.9 per cent to Rs 16.13 crore in Q3 against Rs 15.83 crore QoQ, better than research estimates of Rs 16 crore.
