Canara Bank Dividend 2024: Shares of Canara Bank are in focus today as the company has announced a 161 per cent dividend for which the ex-date is June 14. The counter opened at Rs 119.85 against the closing of Rs 118.80 in the last trading session. The scrip surged around 1.85 per cent to touch an intraday high of Rs 121.

Canara Bank Dividend 2024: Amount

The PSU bank has announced a dividend of Rs 3.22 or 161 per cent per equity share with a face value of Rs 2. 

"The new face value is Rs.2/-. Accordingly, we wish to inform you that the dividend of Rs. 3.22 per equity share (i.e 161% of the face value of Rs. 2/-) each to the shareholders for the year 2023-24," the bank said in an exchange filing.

The shares of the state-run bank have fixed June 14 as the ex-date for the dividend.

The bank has fixed June 17 as the record date for determining the eligibility of shareholders for the corporate action. 

Record Date for payment of Dividend will be Monday, 17th June 2024," the bank said in an exchange filing.

The state-run bank is yet to announce the payment date.

Last year, the bank announced a dividend of Rs 12 in June. In 2022, the PSU Bank paid a dividend of Rs 6.5.
