BHEL upper circuit today news, BHEL share price NSE, BHEL new order latest: Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) shares on Thursday, June 6 zoomed over 14 per cent on D-Street after the firm bagged multiple projects. The counter rose 14.4 per cent to hit the day's high of Rs 292.35 on NSE in morning deals. BHEL shares closed at Rs 278.5, up 9.07 on NSE.

The state-run company bagged an order to the tune of Rs 3,500 crore from Mirzapur Thermal Energy (Uttar Pradesh) for a 2x800 MW thermal power project.

BHEL Q4 results: How did PSU engineering firm fare in March quarter?

BHEL reported an over 25 per cent decline in its consolidated net profit to Rs 489.62 crore in the March quarter, mainly due to higher expenses.

Its consolidated net profit stood at Rs 658.02 crore in the quarter ended on March 31, 2023, according to a regulatory filing. Total expenses of the firm rose to Rs 7,794.11 crore in the quarter from Rs 7,411.64 crore in the same period a year ago. Read more
