Bharat Dynamics share price target: BDL shares rise on the back of strong order book; what should investors do?

Bharat Dynamics news, Bharat Dynamics orders: Bharat Dynamics Ltd (BDL) shares hogged the limelight on Wednesday, June 26, a day after the state-run defence equipment manufacturer's investors' presentation meet. Bharat Dynamics gained 5.4 per cent to the day's high of Rs 1,630 on NSE in morning deals. BDL shares closed 2.89 per cent higher at Rs 1,590 on NSE.

Bharat Dynamics has said that its order pipeline for the next 2-3 years stands at Rs 20,000 crore, taking its total order book to Rs 19,400 crore as of March 31.

Bharat Dynamics share price target: Should you buy, sell or hold BDL shares?

On Wednesday, Chandan Taparia of MOFSL recommended a buy on BDL for a target of Rs 1,680 and Rs 1,700 with a stop loss at Rs 1,550 for 3-6 months.

BDL key financial highlights: 

• Bharat Dynamics' revenue from operations increased by 42 per cent during Q4 2024 (Rs 854 crores) compared to previous quarter ended 31st Dec 2023 (Rs 602 crores).
• The firm recorded a PAT of Rs.612.72 crore, marking a 74 per cent increase from the previous year’s Rs 352 crore.
• The production for the year was increased to Rs.2591.91 crore as compared to the previous year of Rs.2508.43 crore.
• The total income increased by 3 per cent YoY, amounted to Rs.2731 crore as compared to the previous year of Rs.2645 crore, which is mainly attributed to increase in Interest Income.
