Stock market holiday in June, Bakri Id: Indian stock, bond and commodity markets will remain shut on June 28 on the occasion of Bakri Id. As per the 2023 holiday calendar available on the BSE and NSE websites, both the leading exchanges will remain closed on the festival day. According to the BSE website, the Equity Segment, Equity Derivative Segment and the SLB Segment will also remain close on Bakri Id. Bakri id is the only trading holiday for the BSE and the NSE in the month of June 2023.

The Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX) will also remain shut on Bakri Id. 

Bakri Id, also known as Eid-ul-Adha is the 10th day of the Islamic month of Zul Hijjah. After Eid-ul-Fitr, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, Eid-ul-Adha is the second most important festival of Muslims across the world.
