Ambuja Cements dividend 2023: Board announces Rs 2.5 final dividend
Ambuja Cements dividend: Ambuja Cements on Tuesday announced a final dividend of Rs 2.50 per equity share of face value of Rs 2 for the financial year ended March 31 to its shareholders.
"Recommended payment of final dividend of Rs. 2.50 (Rupees Two and Fifty Paise Only) per Equity Share of Rs. 2/- each (fully paid-up) for the financial year ended March 31, 2023 and the same shall be payable subject to approval of the Shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting (‘AGM’) of the Company. The final dividend, as recommended by the Board of Directors, if approved at the AGM will be paid on or after 25th July 2023," the company's regulatory filing said.

Ambuja Cements has fixed July 7 as the record date.
"We also wish to inform you that the Board has fixed the record date as Friday 07th July 2023 for the purpose of determining the entitlement of dividend for the financial year ended March 31, 2023," the company's regulatory filing said.
That is the final dividend, if approved by the Shareholders at the AGM of the Company will be made payable to those Members whose names stand on the Register of Members as on July 7.

The cement company shares have corrected nearly 25 per cent year-to-date, a time period in which the headline index Nifty 50 has given a negative return of 0.27 per cent.
