Ambedkar Jayanti holiday: NSE, BSE to remain shut today; heres what else is unavailable

Ambedkar Jayanti holiday, Stock market holidays: Indian stock, bond and commodity markets will remain shut on April 14 on account of Ambedkar Jayanti. Trading on stock exchanges BSE and NSE, commodity exchanges MCX and NCDEX, and the bond markets will resume on Monday, April 17. 

When will trading be available on NSE and BSE next?

The Indian stock market will resume trading normally on Monday at 9:15 am, following a seven-minute pre-opening session starting 9:00 am, according to the BSE and NSE websites. 

Is MCX market open today, April 14?

India's first listed exchange, Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX) will also remain closed for trading in the morning session on April 14. It will resume trading in the evening session from 5 pm to 11:30/11:55 pm today. 

As for the Commodity Derivative Segment, the morning session will be closed, whereas the evening session will be open.
