2:1 bonus shares: Construction giant Gensol Engineering shares go ex-bonus today
2:1 bonus shares: Share of Gensol Engineering gained around 5.74 per cent to trade at Rs 848 at around 9:30 am on the NSE.
2:1 bonus shares: Stocks of construction major Gensol Engineering are trading ex-bonus today i.e. October 17, 2023. The company declared a bonus issue in the ratio of 2:1 on September 5 this year.
"The Company has fixed Tuesday, October 17, 2023, as the Record Date to determine eligible shareholders entitled to receive the Bonus Shares," the company said
As per the information available on the official website Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), Gensol Engineering bonus declared bonus shares in a 2:1 ratio.
"The Board of Directors of the Company considered, approved and recommended bonus issue of 2 (Two) equity share for every 1 (One) equity shares held by the Shareholders of the Company as on the record date," Gensol Engineering said in an exchange filing.

Earlier to this, Gensol Engineering traded ex-bonus in 2021 as well. The multibagger stock traded ex-bonus on October 11, 2021, for the issuance of bonus shares in a 1:3 ratio. The company issued one bonus share for every three stocks held by the eligible shareholder.

Share of Gensol Engineering gained around 5.74 per cent to trade at Rs 848 at around 9:30 am on the NSE. The scrip had closed at Rs 802 in the last trading session on Monday.
Gensol Engineering shares have given a positive return of 150.33 per cent so far this year. Shares of Gensol Engineering have gained over 27.44 per cent in the last two weeks against the 1.58 per cent return generated by BSE Sensex.
