As per Mutual Fund industry factbook- Fisdom Research, Mutual Funds own nearly 15 stocks that are uniquely held by them.Mutual Funds in India own stocks in their kitty to multiply investors’ wealth. So, as per their April 2024 edition, here is the list of uniquely held stocks taking into account a m-cap of over Rs 150 crore.

Dynamatic Technologies: HDFC MF as of March 2024 held 3,82,071 shares in the auto parts company. The m-cap of the shares held has been at Rs 285 crore. Shares of the company as on April 22 traded at Rs 8549.9, up over 3 per cent,Dynamatic Technologies Limited is a manufacturer of engineered products for the aerospace, automotive and hydraulic industries.

Rajratan Global Wire Ltd: SBI Mutual Fund held 38,53,760 shares taking the total m-cap to Rs 224 crore. The company is engaged in the business of manufacturing and sale of steel wires.

Vindhya Telelinks: Nippon India MF as of March 2024 held 9.93 lakhs stocks in the telecom infra company.  Primarily, the company is into the business of manufacturing and sale of telecommunication cables, fiber reinforced plastic rods/glass rovings and connectorized cable products.

Sundaram Finance Holdings: Nippon India MF held 93.78 lakh shares in the company totalling to a m-cap of Rs 187 crore. The company is a provider of sales financing services.

Goodyear India: In the tyre company, HDFC MF uniquely held 15.57 lakh shares hitting a combined m-cap of Rs 172 crore. The company is engaged in the manufacturing and trading of tires, tubes and flaps. Also, it supplies its product line to a range of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

Premier Explosives: HDFC MF again owns this stock and as of March held over 10 lakh shares in the company taking its total holding to be worth over Rs 150 crore. The company is engaged in manufacturing explosives and accessories.

Other uniquely held stocks forming the part of AMC’s holdings are TCPL Packaging, Agro Tech Foods, Gujarat Industries Power Company, Insecticides (India), Transformers and Rectifiers (India), Styrenix Performance, Seamec, Centum Electronics and The Anup Engineering.

Out of the top 15 uniquely held stocks by mutual funds, 7 out of 15 unique stocks are held by HDFC MF, with Nippon India AMC being the second-largest holder, added the report.
