Morgan Stanley expects gas market oversupply to reach multi-decade highs over the coming years. In a report, the global brokerage said that it will inflect demand, especially in India & Southeast Asia and save $10 billion in energy costs through 2030 with energy consumption rewiring back in favour of gas for the region.
Gas accelerates renewable adoption and also partly solves policymaker trilemma of supporting AI adoption and decarbonisation at affordable prices, the brokerage in its report read.

Integrated market communication services provider RK Swamy makes a weak debut in the secondary market. The stock begins trading on BSE at Rs 252 per share, a discount of 12.5 per cent to the upper end of the issue price range. On NSE, the stock opens at Rs 250, a discount of 13.2 per cent.

Shares of ITC, the diversified conglomerate slip as much as 2.43 per cent to Rs 399.45 apiece on the BSE after reports surfaced that British American Tobacco was evaluating a possible disposal of a "small part" of its shareholding in ITC through an on-market block trade.
The stake sale would allow the maker of Dunhill and Lucky Strike cigarettes to pay down its debt and move faster towards the leverage range at which it could resume share buybacks, according to a Reuters report. Read more

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M): The company released its February production sales and export figures.
RVNL: Rail Vikas Nigam Limited emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) from Central Railway for signalling and telecommunication work for the provision of automatic block signalling on the Khapri-Sewagram section of the Nagpur Division.
Aditya Birla Capital: The company's board approved the merger with Aditya Birla Finance, a subsidiary of Aditya Birla Capital.
Further, Aditya Birla Finance is to amalgamate with Aditya Birla Capital through an NCLT-approved scheme; the proposed amalgamation is to take 9–12 months to complete.
KEI Industries: The company approved an interim dividend of Rs 3.5 per equity share with a face value of Rs 2 each for the financial year 2023–24.
UCO Bank: In a clarification, the lender said that reports about steps being taken by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in accordance with their systems and protocols of investigation do not contain any new material information that has not been disclosed by the bank earlier. Read more

Rajkot-headquarter ethnic savouries maker Gopal Snacks’ initial public offer (IPO), which was open for subscription for three trading days from March 6, concluded with an overall subscription of 9.02 times on Monday, March 11. The stock of the snacks maker, which produces a wide range of products including 'gathiya', is set to be listed on exchanges BSE and NSE tentatively on Thursday, March 14, after the finalisation of the allotment of shares tentatively on Tuesday, March 12.
