Share Market HIGHLIGHTS: The market once again came under selling pressure on Thursday after scaling record levels during the day. The S&P BSE Sensex scaled a fresh peak of 63,601.71 during the session before settling at 63,238.89, down 284 points, or 0.45 per cent. The NSE's Nifty ended at 18,771.25, down 86 points, or 0.45 per cent. Equities gave up gains on concerns of high valuations and as IT stocks dropped after US Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell indicated further rate hikes this year.

Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL) on Thursday signed a deal with GE Aerospace, a subsidiary of General Electric, for fighter jet engines. The news was first reported by Zee Business. The deal was signed amid a historic summit between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Joe Biden. PM Narendra Modi is currently on his three-day visit to the US. Delhivery trades at Rs 388.7 apiece, up 0.03 per cent on NSE. Shares of Delhivery climbed over 7 per cent on the BSE in early morning trade after 2.5 per cent equity shares worth Rs 1.84 crore changed hands via a block deal. As per Zee Business, Carlyle was expected to sell its entire 1.84 per cent stake through a block deal. The base price of the block deal, as per the report, was fixed at Rs 385.50 per share.

TCS: The country's largest IT services exporter, TCS, announced on Wednesday that it has bagged a GBP 840 million contract with the UK's Nest to enhance the members' experience with the pension scheme. The maximum estimated value of the contract can go up to GBP 1.5 billion if it is extended to the entirety of its 18-year tenure, Tata Consultancy Services said in a statement.
Shriram Finance: Jefferies has double-upgraded the stock to Buy from Hold. The target price has been raised to Rs 2,130 from Rs 1,445. The global brokerage said it has upgraded the stock to a stake sale by PIEL and TPG, removing a key equity supply overhang.
