Share Market Today LIVE: Indian equity benchmarks Nifty 50 and Sensex are all set to start Wednesday largely unchanged amid mixed moves across global markets, ahead of key inflation readings from India and the US that could determine the future course of benchmark interest rates. Singapore Exchange (SGX) Nifty futures — an early indicator of the Nifty 50 index — was left with a gain of 12 points , or 0.1 per cent, at 17,799 at the last count ahead of the opening bell in the Indian share market, having gyrated in a range of 50 points around the flatline earlier in the day.
Investors on Dalal Street await the announcement of financial results by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), due later in the day, for domestic cues. The Tata group IT giant is all set to kick off the corporate earnings season post-market hours on Wednesday. Infosys (INFY) will report its earnings on Thursday.

Share Market Today | Nifty reclaims 17,800, Sensex takes rally to 2,779 pts in eight days; TCS up 1% ahead of Q4 results today
Both headline indices hold on to much of their intraday gains at the closing bell. The Sensex ends 235.1 points or 0.4 per cent higher for the day at 60,392.8, taking its rally to 2,779.1 points in eight back-to-back sessions. During the session, the 30-scrip index rose as much as 343 points in intraday trade.
The Nifty settles at 17,812.4, up 90.1 points or 0.5 per cent from its previous close. During the session, the headline index broadly moved within the 17,700-17,850 band.

TCS Results Today | Analysts expect Tata group IT major's Q4 profit to have grown nearly 7% to Rs 11,600 crore vs Q3
According to Zee Business research, TCS is likely to report a net profit of Rs 11,600 crore for the January-March 2023 period, as against a net profit of Rs 10,846 crore for the previous three months. They estimate its revenue growth at 1.7 per cent sequentially to Rs 59,200 crore.

The company's board said the payout will be made on and from May 8 along with the final dividend for the year 2022, if approved by the members at its 64th AGM on April 12.
