Share Market HIGHLIGHTS: Indian equity benchmarks Nifty 50 and Sensex finished barely in the green on Monday, as Dalal Street entered yet another holiday-truncated week. On the other hand, Bajaj Finance (BAJFINANCE), Hindustan Unilever (HINDUNILVR), Asian Paints (ASAINPAINT), Tata Consumer (TATACONSUM) and IndusInd Bank (INDUSINDBK) were the top laggards.
Broader indices Nifty Midcap 100 and Nifty Smallcap 100 rose 0.4 per cent and 0.3 per cent for the day respectively. Overall market breadth was skewed in favour of the bulls, with an advance-decline ratio of 6:5 as 1,955 stocks rose and 1,669 fell at the close on BSE.
