Share Market HIGHLIGHTS: Healthy buying in FMCG, IT, pharma, realty, metals, and oil and gas stocks helped the domestic equity market settle higher for the third consecutive session on Tuesday (September 5). The Nifty Midcap 100 and Small Cap 100 indices also participated in the rally as both indices hit fresh record highs.
At close, the S&P BSE Sensex stood at 65,780.26, up 0.23 per cent or 152.12 points, while the NSE's Nifty ended 0.24 per cent or 46.1 points higher at 19,575 levels. In the Nifty 50 basket, 33 stocks advanced and 17 declined.

Share Market HIGHLIGHTS | Apollo Hospitals, Coal India, Sun Pharma rise most in 50-scrip blue-chip basket
Apollo Hospitals, Coal India, Sun Pharma and BPCL are among the top gainers in the Nifty basket, trading with gains of around 3 per cent. On the other hand, UltraTech Cement, Dr Reddy's, Sbi Life Insurance Company and Maruti Suzuki are among the top losers, down nearly 1.5 per cent.

With assortment being a key reason for shopping online, Nykaa, with 3,400+ brand partners, is being used by 142 of the 203 survey participants, with 30 per cent of them buying more than 50 per cent of their beauty and personal care (BPC) needs on Nykaa, notes JM Financial in their latest report based on a consumer survey.
While 27 per cent of survey participants belonged to the 33–37 age group, they account for 39 per cent of shoppers spending over Rs 10,000 on BPC annually, with over 90 per cent online penetration. Users in this age group suggested higher 'dispensable' income and early signs of ageing are the primary reasons for their increased BPC spending from a few years ago, the brokerage said in its report dated September 4. Shares of asset management companies UTI AMC, HDFC AMC, and NIPPON INDIA trade on a high note, a day after Zerodha MF filed papers with Sebi to start two mutual fund (MF) schemes. The share of UTI AMC trades higher by 2.19 per cent, HDFC is up 0.85 per cent, while Nippon India moved up by 2.02 per cent in early trading hours on Tuesday.
Zerodha, which got its mutual fund licence last month, said on Monday that it had submitted its papers to the Securities Exchange Board of India (Sebi) to launch its two mutual fund schemes: the Zerodha Tax Saver (ELSS) Nifty Large Midcap 250 Index Fund and the Zerodha Nifty Large Midcap 250 Index Fund (ZN250).
