Niva Bupa IPO, Subscription Status: The initial public offering of Niva Bupa Health Insurance Company (formerly, Max Bupa), a health insurance provider, opened for subscription on November 7. The bidding process will conclude on November 11. The price band for the issue is in the range of Rs 70-74. The Rs 2,200 crore issue comprises Rs 800 fresh share issuance and an offer for sale aggregating up to Rs 1,400 crore.

On the second day of bidding today (November 8), the issue received bids for 20,27,56,000 shares against 17,28,57,143 shares, having been subscribed 1.17 times. At the last count (5:00 PM), the retail investor segment subscribed 1.34 times the quota available to them, according to the data from BSE. While non-institutional investors (NII) bid for 0.40 times the portion meant for the category. Meanwhile, the qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) subscribed to 1.50 times the shares offered to them.
