Technical glitch delays opening at MCX; trading commences at 10 am instead of normal 9 am

MCX Technical Glitch News, Alternate Market Timings: Commodity Exchange MCX began trading at 10 am on Tuesday, instead of the normal 9 am, due to a “technical issue”. Earlier on Tuesday, the exchange - which conducts trading in a string commodities including gold, silver and crude oil - said the end-of-day processes for Monday’s trade were delayed due to a technical glitch.
"The End-of-day processes for yesterday's trade date have been delayed due to some technical issues and hence the special session will start at 10:00 am today," read a notification on the exchange's website, MCXIndia.com, on Tuesday morning.
Normally, trading activities at MCX commence at 9:00 am for the morning session, which ends at 5 pm, followed by the evening session which concludes at 11:30/11:55 pm.
Trading hours for internationally linked agricultural commodities are observed from 5 pm to 9 pm, according to the MCX portal.
