Petrol and diesel prices for Monday, July 5, have been released by Domestic Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs). Petrol and diesel prices have been hiked for second day in a row after Oil Marketing Companies increased the prices of petrol and diesel on Sunday by 35 paise and 18 paise respectively in the national capital on Sunday, July 4. In another blow to oil consumers, as per Indian Oil Corpolration Limited (IOCL) official website, Petrol prices have been increased by 35 to 36 paise gain on Monday, taking the fuel prices in Delhi and Kolkata to nearly Rs 100. Earlier, two metro cities—Mumbai and Chennai — had already crossed the psychological figure.
