Domestic Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have released the petrol and diesel prices and have decided to keep the rates unchanged on Tuesday, July 13. Fuel rates were increased on Monday after a day's pause. Petrol and diesel prices are revised on daily basis and effected at 6 am in the morning. Currently, petrol is being sold for Rs 100 and above in select cities and towns of more than 15 states and UTs now.

Earlier on Monday, for the first time in 3 months, diesel prices were slashed across all metros. As the price of petrol increased by 28 paise to Rs 101.19 a litre in Delhi on Monday, diesel  reduced by 16 paise per litre to Rs 89.72 a litre in Delhi. Similarly, petrol prices increased in the range of 25-35 paise per litre, while diesel prices reduced by 15-20 paise per litre. Before Monday, the retail prices of petrol and diesel rose by a sharp 35 paise and 26 paise per litre on Saturday while it remained unchanged on Sunday.

107.20 per litre and the price of diesel is Rs 97.29 per litre 

DELHI – Petrol: Rs 101.19 per litre | Diesel: Rs 89.72 per litre    

MUMBAI - Petrol: Rs 107.20 per litre | Diesel: Rs 97.29 per litre 

KOLKATA - Petrol: Rs 101.35 and Diesel: Rs 92.81   

CHENNAI – Petrol: Rs 101.92, while Diesel Price: Rs 94.24
