Domestic Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have released the price of Petrol and diesel for Friday, June 2021. As per notification by Indian Oil Corporation Limited, fuel rates have been kept unchanged for Friday. On Thursday, in 13th hike of the month, petrol was hiked by 26 paise and diesel by 7 paise across four metros in India. Petrol have breached psychological barrier of Rs 100-mark in as many 9 states and union territories. These states and UTS are Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Jammu and Kashmir, Odisha and Ladakh.

Two states—Bihar and Kerala are also about to join these states and UTs with petrol being sold at Rs 99.80 per litre in Bihar's Patna and Rs 99.74 per litre in Kerala's Thiruvananthapuram.  

Petrol and diesel prices are revised every day and are effected a 6 am daily by oil marketing companies. The prices of these petroleum products depend on number of factors, including the taxes imposed by central and state governments and price of crude oil in the international market.   

As the prices remained unchanged on Friday, petrol and diesel prices were same in the metros as that of Thursday.

Delhi:  Petrol: Rs 97.76 per litre | Diesel: Rs 88.30 per litre. 

Mumbai: Petrol: Rs 103.89 per litre | Diesel: Rs 95.79 per litre   

Kolkata: Petrol: Rs 97.63 per litre | Diesel: Rs 91.15 per litre   

Chennai: Petrol: Rs 98.88 per litre | Diesel: Rs 92.89 per litre
