Gold Price Today: Yellow metal hold Rs 50,000 level on MCX - check rates in Delhi, Mumbai and other cities
Gold rate today: At 2:00 pm, Gold Decembers future quoted Rs 50,507 per 10 grams, down by 0.45 per cent. Silver too showed dullness but was seen holding Rs 57,000 per kg.
Gold rate today: The Gold and Silver traded flat on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Friday, October 28. The yellow metal traded in red but managed to hold the psychologically important level of Rs 50,000 per 10 grams.
At 2:00 pm, Gold December's future quoted Rs 50,507 per 10 grams, down by 0.45 per cent. Silver too showed dullness but was seen holding Rs 57,000 per kg. Silver December futures quoted Rs 57,629 per kg on the exchange.
Yesterday, the Gold price fell by Rs 101 to Rs 51,024 per 10 gram, according to HDFC Securities, amid weak global trends and appreciation in the rupee.
Meanwhile, supported by a weak greenback in the overseas market and positive domestic equities, the rupee appreciated 4 paise to 82.29 against the US dollar in the morning trade of Friday, as per PTI report.
In the domestic equity market, the 30-share BSE Sensex was trading 220.59 points or 0.37 per cent higher at 59,977.43. Similarly, the broader NSE Nifty rose 60.50 points or 0.34 per cent to 17,797.45, said PTI.
