Gold Price Today: Yellow metal above Rs 50,000 on MCX - check rates in Delhi, Mumbai, and other cities

Gold price today: Gold traded flat in the afternoon session on the MCX. At 1 PM, December Gold futures quoted Rs 51,640 per 10 grams, marginally up by Rs 134 or 0.26 per cent. Meanwhile, Silver was above 60,000 level at Rs 61,562 per kg.

On the international market, Gold quoted USD 1,708.80 per ounce.

Meanwhile, the Rupee depreciated 17 paise to 81.64 against the US dollar, tracking weak domestic equities ahead of US inflation data.
