Gold price today: Gold on Tuesday, January 3, traded above Rs 55,000 on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). February Gold Futures quoted Rs 55,625 per 10 grams, up by Rs 447 or 0.81 per cent. Silver on the other hand, crossed the Rs 70,000-level on the MCX .
