Gold and Silver price today (October 31, 2023): Precious metals trade in red; Gold below Rs 61,200

Gold and Silver price today (October 31, 2023): Domestic precious metal futures traded in red on Tuesday.

Last seen, MCX gold futures (Dec 5) were down 0.19 per cent or Rs 118 at Rs 61,162 per 10 grams at the last count, having traded between Rs 61,110 and Rs 61,162 earlier in the day. Silver futures (Dec 5) were down 0.39 per cent or Rs 285 at Rs 72,470 per kg.

"Bullion structure is looking positive and some further upside movement can be seen shortly. Traders are advised to make fresh buy positions in Gold and Silver near the given support level," said Amit Khare Associate Vice President at Ganganagar Commodity Limited (GCL) Broking.

Khare sees support for Gold December futures at 61100/60800 and resistance at 61500/61700. For Silver December futures he sees support at 72200/71200 and resistance at 73300/73600.

In the international market, COMEX gold was trading flat but in negative territory at $2003.7 per ounce.
