"The yellow metal, although downside pressure is apparent, is still finding dip buying support as the US Dollar and the US yields are unable to gain upward traction. It may take some strong US data or change in markets' perception about Fed rate hikes or a sharp decline in major currencies to break the key support at $1920 decisively. Next support is at $1900. Resistance is at $1950/$1975," said Praveen Singh – Associate VP, Fundamental Currencies and Commodities, Sharekhan by BNP Paribas.

He added market participants will be paying attention to Fedspeak also which includes Federal Reserve Chair Powell's semiannual monetary policy testimony to the Senate Banking Committee, though markets don't expect any significant deviations from his yesterday's remarks.
