Dr Ambedkar Jayanti holiday 2023: What are the timings of morning and evening sessions on MCX? 

Commodity derivatives exchange MCX conducts the morning session from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and the evening session from 5:00 pm to 11:30/11:55 pm, according to its website — mcxindia.com.

Simply put, after the closing of market hours on Thursday, trading on MCX will be available next at 5:00 pm on April 14 — the day the bourse is shut for the morning session for Dr Ambedkar Jayanti.

Other market holidays on the horizon

MCX will also remain shut for the morning session, and resume trading on the same day for the evening session, on May 1 for the Maharashtra Day holiday.
